The beginning of each year is always a flurry of activity, as the mission is reconciling ministries and finances from the previous year, as well as setting budgets and planning ministry for the upcoming year. This involves countless little meetings, countless department meetings, and culminates in the annual planning meeting held at the end of each January.
This meeting gathers all the heads of departments together to share with each other the successes and setbacks from the previous year, as well as budgeted plans for the upcoming year. This meeting allows input, networking, and collaboration across all Namikango’s departments as we strategize the best way to do the most ministry in the most streamlined way possible. Our staff take this meeting very seriously, discussing issues and problems from the previous year and getting and giving advice for a more successful try this year. This meeting also showcases the breadth of ministries here at Namikango, as we hear from each department all the ways they are reaching out to the local communities.
