This year is already off and running with Namikango’s church partnerships. We have been focusing our church visitations in the southern region this year, specifically with churches that have requested help mediating various conflicts. The ministry of conflict mediation and reconciliation is a vital component to working alongside churches. Namikango encourages peace and unity among the churches, and actively engages with churches seeking to bring peace and unity out of divisions arising among them. These issues can be small or great, involving a few people or multiple congregations, but in every situation we try our best to work with those involved to foster a new understanding of our shared identity in Christ. When that identity is properly understood and viewed, issues and conflicts tend to fade into the background, no longer dividing people.
